"The word “HITO” means a stone post or milestone that serves to indicate direction or distance along a road as well as marking land boundaries. This wine comes about from a desire to offer the consumer the freshest, aromatic version of our variety, with no barrel aging and from the same grapes as our great reds. Extracted directly from grapes destined for the production of the HITO wine, this wine has an attractive strawberry red color. Its maceration at low temperature gives a great intensity to the expression of the fruit, with notes of red fruits like strawberry and raspberry dominating the glass, and then the deeper citric nuances add complexity to the ensemble. A wine that invites us to get to know the other facet of our variety, fresher and with the delicate aromas that come from the first hours of maceration."
