"Absolutely delicious single vineyard Riesling from one of our favorite producers. Weingut Vols is a 6 hectare estate in Saar, and they consistently release beautiful expressions of Riesling crafted with minimal intervention. Ayler Kupp is an exceptional vineyard with both Devonian and red slate adding to the impeccable mineral quality of the resulting wines. For the Stirn Kabinett, Vols leaves a bit of sweetness, however it is nearly disguised in a cleansing wave of acidity. Slightly floral with very ripe apricots and peaches, crushed slate, and petrol."
