Distributor's Notes:
"Certified in Sustainable Agriculture. Mondeuse is a typical Savoyard grape variety with ancient origins from Les Rocailles. A true earthly paradise nestled in the French Alps, Les Rocailles is owned and managed by native Savoyard Guillaume Durand, who purchased the estate and négociant business from Pierre Boniface upon his retirement in 2006. 100% Mondeuse noire. Fermentation before pressing of 10-15 days at low temperatures. End of alcoholic and malolactic fermentation in thermo-regulated stainless steel tanks. Unoaked. Spicy, peppery, red fruits, blackcurrant, blackberries. Robust wine with beautiful tannins. Enjoy on its own or pair with small game, stewed lentils, grilled red meats. Delicious with spiced dishes or cheese plates."
