"The Petit Verdot has a deep purple color with a shade of magenta in the wine's youthful hue. The aromas of this wine are focused on ripe dark fruit; blackberry, boysenberry and dark cherry. The bouquet features hazelnut and light chocolate along with a suggestion of graphite. Flavors of savory black currant and creamy toasty oak are delivered by a wine with smooth polished tannins with a finish that is soft and round, with toasted oak flavors that linger. This is an elegant red wine that is ready to be savored and enjoyed."
