With the extremely high demand for Pappy Van Winkle Bourbon, we decided a while back that we wanted to use these bottles specifically for charitable fundraisers related to the Roma community. 

To that end, our dear friend and loyal customer, Jorge "Popmaster Fabel" Pabon, was mowed down by a speeding vehicle in a "hit and run" incident this past August. Fabel is a hip-hop pioneer and historian, dancer, graffiti artist, and is an adjunct professor at NYU. His livelihood largely depends on his ability to perform, travel, conduct speaking engagements, and public appearances. 

Fabel sustained critical injuries including compound fractures to his legs, a fractured pelvis, multiple rib fractures to both sides, a punctured right lung and a lacerated liver, among other injuries. He spent several weeks in the ICU having multiple surgeries, and then he transitioned to a rehab facility. He is now home and is still facing a long, difficult road ahead to recovery.

To raise money for his medical bills, we are holding a raffle for one of the most sought after Bourbons there is: 12 Year Van Winkle Special Reserve.

The Van Winkle line of Bourbons is greatly responsible for the level of popularity and collectibility that Bourbon as a category is enjoying today. They are released only once a year and are coveted by drinkers and collectors alike.

The raffle tickets are $25 each and we encourage you to enter as many times as you like to improve your chances of winning and to support Fabel.

• Each raffle ticket costs $25. 
• You can purchase tickets in the shop or here on our website.
• The more tickets purchased, the better chance you have of winning.
• Please be sure to enter correct contact info so we can reach you if you win. 
• This is not like our other lotteries where you win the opportunity to purchase a bottle. 
• In this case, you pay only for the ticket(s) and the winner will receive the bottle at no additional charge.
• A winner will be chosen at random on Tuesday, April 2nd and will be notified by 8pm.
• If we don't hear from the winner by Friday, April 5th at 8pm, we will pick another winner, and so on. 
• 100% of proceeds will go towards Fabel’s medical bills & necessities.
