Distributor's Notes:
"Agricole Vallone is located in Puglia, Italy, and was founded in 1934 by the Vallone family. Vittoria and Maria Teresa Vallone currently own the 420 acre estate and work alongside viticulturist Donato Lazzari and wine consultant, Graziana Grassini. The estate vineyards – Castelserranova, Flaminio and Iore – are located in the Brindisi province and are planted on well draining calcareous, limestone and clay soils. Negroamaro, Montepulciano, Susumaniello and Fiano, Ottavianello, Sauvignon Blanc, and Chardonnay are planted at the estate. Agricole Vallone has two winemaking facilities. The wines are vinified at the Flaminio estate, near Brindisi and cellared at Copertino, in the Lecce province. Maturation is driven by vintage and variety – stainless steel, small oak barrels and large oak botti are used."
